CEMAC News

CEMAC has some great activities coming up for the summer.  Mark your calendar for Saturday, June 23, for the 2nd annual Luau!  It will be held at the park in Eaton, from 4:00 - ?.  Tickets are $7.00 per person, age 3 and under free.  Reservations can be made in the church office beginning June 1.  Invite your friends!

On June 24, we will have a combined service at 10:00, with a potluck following.

On July 29 and August 26, we will worship outdoors in Luther Park - just east of the intersection of 10th Street and 23rd Avenue.  Worship will be a combined service at 10:00, and we'll follow it up with a potluck.  Bring your lawn chairs.  Street parking is available; we can also use the parking lot of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church, just east of the park.  What a great time to invite friends or family who may be in town!

CEMAC continues to serve as the church group that organizes opportunities for our members to come together as a family.  We encourage your participation in these activities, and remind you that another of our "jobs" is to provide greeters for each church service.  In reality, we’re all greeters, but those who volunteer to be the first contact visitors make are especially important.  Please consider helping out with this vital ministry - we want to make new visitors feel welcomed and loved.  Contact Linda Kautz or Donna Hettinger.

FUMC Business Cards

Have you ever been with someone who asked about your church?  CEMAC has ordered business cards with all the pertinent information.  We encourage each person to take 3 or 4 cards to have in their wallet or purse for just such an occasion.  They can be found i the east narthex.
